The Challenge
To develop a report educating the retirement plan participants about the funds’ financial results. Also to introduce STAN and Navigator as additional features of the Shell Retirement Program.
The Solution
A carefully constructed annual report whose format is both innovative in appearance and instructive in its presentation of complex material. The symbols illustrating STAN and Navigator are combined with the tradi-tional shell on the cover design and continued throughout the report for both continuity and attractiveness. Bright, lively colors attract attention to these elements and contrast with black and white employee photos, portraying the company’s mix of ages, employment areas and ethnicity. An article," Investing for Your Future," is illustrated with graphs for better understanding of the intricate investment strategies for different age groups
